Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

The Council’s purpose is to help Vermont girls become confident, self-reliant, courageous and committed young women.

Girl Scout Council of Vermont Corporate Goals  2001-2006

The Girl Scout Council of Vermont, the largest organization for girls in the state, will provide a variety of opportunities that reflect the interests and needs of Vermont’s girls through innovative and inclusive programming that will attract and retain a diverse girl membership.

The Girl Scout Council of Vermont is the state’s leading authority and resource on girl development and will be the acknowledged leader in advocating for and addressing the unique needs and interests of all Vermont girls.

The Girl Scout Council of Vermont will effectively manage its human, financial, and capital resources to attract, develop and maintain the diverse leadership necessary to ensure that every Vermont girl has the opportunity to achieve her full potential.
